Summer School for Pre-K through 12th Grade

Now entering our 10th Anniversary session in 2018, South Bay Enrichment Academy offers students many options for learning and summer engagement.

Established by TEF in 2009, SBEA summer school coursework is offered for both Elementary and Secondary students for a period extending from late June through July, and sometimes into the first few days of August.

High School SBEA registration is open!  Courses are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and by the National Council of Amateur Athletics (NCAA) *. Any SBEA class offering high school credit can be used to meet graduation requirements at all TUSD high schools. 2018 classes will take place at South High School. Select online courses* are also offered. Students enrolled in another school district during the regular school year may petition their school to accept SBEA certificates of completion, and should consult with their school counselor about additional requirements.

Elementary and Middle School registration will open on February 16th.  Courses are offered for enrichment. Elementary classes are designed to develop the younger mind, offering structured study as well as educational play and themed activities. Middle School courses supplement the instruction students receive during the school year, and also provide a selection of unique “specialty” classes not typically found in normal curricula.

Afternoon activities will be offered in 2018 for both Elementary and Middle School students.
